Question:
Dulcolax pills are wonderful solving my SEVERE constipation.

Miralax was not nearly effective enough. Ducolax pills is the most wonderful relief yet. It is not a stimulant so it is a very pleasant experience. Dr. says it is ok to use longterm. I take 2-3 nightly... I hope I never have to stop???    — luc (posted on April 30, 2010)

ihad wls nov 09. i am constantly constipated . i prefer amore natural solution. protein drink 1/2 cup of coffee with benefiber 2scopes of protein , then later a veggie fruit drink with more benefiber.this seems to work well for me. hope this helps you good luck hank

I have severe constipation problems due not only to RNY, but also to the steady use of opioids due to severe back pain (some narcotics can be horribly constipating). I take 3 Colace and 3 Sennokot daily, along with a cup of "Traditional Medicinals Smooth Move" tea. That USUALLY helps me. If not, I resort to cherry flavored Milk of Mag. That definitely helps. But, I only use the MoM about once a month or so, and then, only if I've forgotten to use the Smooth Move Tea for several days.

I agree. I have been taking 2 Dulcolax gel caps daily for the last week and I plan to continue indefinitely.I called my doctors office, and they suggested prune juice, enemas and the Dulcolax. I bought all 3 just in case I needed all of them, but got relief within 8 hours of taking the Dulcolax. I was in so much pain with the constipation, that this has been a great relief.
