I totally understand and it's normal. I am upcoming to. Nervous as heck too. Think positive thoughts, so thats what they tell me. If you forgot a question call your Dr's office no matter how silly or little you might think it is. Call them. Best wishes.

I have been hearing about this filter lately, I do not know what that is? I had RNY and I too was a tad nervous, but I was so unhappy with my weight that I welcomed the surgery. I was as happy as punch because my insurance paid for it totally too!!! This is not an easy surgery and the recovery for me at least has been very rough, but like I said it a thousand times before I would do it again. Good luck my weight loss sister!

THAT NERVOUS FEELING IS NATURAL .I'M 14 MONTHS POST OP AND I REMEMBER HOW NERVOUS I WAS . THE DOCTORS ARE VERY GOOD AT THIS PROCEDURE SO TRY AND JUST THINK OF THE NEW YOU . WITHIN THREE DAYS OF MY SURGERY I WAS WALKING A MILE A DAY .AS FAR AS HAVING A SCREEN PUT IN MY FRIEND HAD IT DONE AND HE SAID IT WAS AN EASY PROCEDURE . SO SIT BACK RELAX DO WHAT THE DOCTORS SAY AND ENJOY THE NEW YOU . GOOD LUCK AND WELCOME TO THE LOSERS BENCH .............ROGER

Hi, I was also nervous right up till the end. I always kept a notebook/date book with my folder of information from the clinic and wrote down questions as i thought of them. I took it to my appts and went down the list. It turns out this was the best thing i have ever done just for myself. Good luck and happy loosing.

If you weren't nervous people would wonder if you were human or not. I think it's very common to be nervous. you won't believe the pathway you open when you wake up from surgery. Good luck. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
