Question:
Does anyone know of a support group in the Worcester area for lapband?

I would like to attend a support group , but don't know of any in the area. My surgeon is about an hour away . So would like a support group closer.    — linda4 (posted on February 1, 2008)

Mass General has a support group for all bariatric patients. Its not just lapband.--Karen

Go to your state board, which I think is Massachusetts board under "more forums" up on top. There you will see people all around your state and post your question there.

HI Linda, I see your surgeon is Dr. Fiallo. My group is Baystate Surgical Associates, and they have several monthly support groups. Thay also have agreements with local bariatric surgeons who do not have their own groups and I believe Dr. Fiallo is one of them. I'd suggest you either ask him, or you can call my group at 413-794-7020 and ask. It may be a little easier to get to Springfield tham Boston.
