If you call the Bariatric Association, their number is on this website, they will tell you the doctors in your area that perform laproscopic procedures. They are exrtremely helpful, and more importantly....if you find a doctor that is performing the procedure and they do not have him listed, its means that he is probably not up to the standard required by most doctors. It is a good way to check if the doctor is legitimate. Dr. Fobi in Los Angeles does not do the Lap procedure but he does do a tummy tuck at the same time which leaves a big scar, but it's under the panty line like a c-section scar and the results are great.
