I am also intersted in this issue. I have some "moderate to sever" neuropathy pain. I am seeing a pain managment doctor and the meds don't seem to be working as her feels it should be. I think it as a malabsorption issue. Is there a resouce that shows where and how different meds get matabolized and how the surgery can change that. I have a feeling that my Dr. may need more then my word on this. I am almost 5 years out and since this pain issue has presented itself I've put on back 35 pound (Out of 175) because I can't to get the pain under control enough to exersize. Thanks for your help.
