Question:
How many of you have the "magic bullet" blender
Im wondering if buying the bllet blender would be worth the money. Does anyone use it on a regular basis? I dont want to spend the money on this when we have to buy all of the supplements already each mth to get and stay healthy. — suzette N. (posted on May 1, 2009)

Funny you should ask! I am pre-op (date of 5/21/09) and ordered one a month
ago. I use it everyday, as does my husband. I love that you don't need to
take the whole thing apart to clean it; it makes great single serving sizes
and comes with lids so you can store drinks etc. right in the fridge after
blending. Not only have I used it for protein drinks (powder+water or
milk+ice cubes), I have also made hummus and blended fat free re-fried
beans with salsa for a protein rich dip for veggies. I think it's going to
work out great for pureeing foods after surgery. When we use our regular
blender the whole thing has to be disassembled to clean it thoroughly.
Worth every penny I paid for it - I did the buy one get one free and was
going to give the second one to my daughter for a shower gift (but may keep
it and use it at our vacation house)! Blends a PERFECT shake!! Did I
mention that I love it?

I have a magic bullet and I love it. It is so much easier to make the
shake/smoothies/purees in the Magic Bullet than in a big blender. I use
mine everyday, often more than once a day. It's easier to clean than a big
blender and it also cuts down on stuff getting stuck under/around the
blades, which I found to be a problem when I tried to puree with my regular
size blender.

LOVE IT .... I use it every day and I have had mine for 9 months and no
problems... shop around you can find them in department stores...

i use it everyday for protein shakes. i bought mine on ebay but i see that
Target carries them too

I love mine-BUT..be sure to use it properly or it's easily stripped. I do
not plug mine in till I have it in the lock down position.

I purchased a knock-off at Macy's. Loved it so much that when it went on
sale I bough two more. Now I have one at work, one at home, and one in the
car for when I'm on the road.

Yup,I have one and use it every day. I would recommend it. I use it for
protein smoothies every day. (and in the early days after surgery, I used
it to puree shrimp, egg salad, etc.) You don't need all the extra cups and
such. Just the basic blender. But be sure to get a plug-in one. The
battery powered ones don't cut it. Should be able to get it on sale at
Costo or Hardware, etc. for under $30 on sale. Well worth it. Cleans up so
easy, too !
