I am experiencing plateau's also Tracy. I had my surgery on Aug 28, 2001, lost 50 pounds in the first 8 weeks and nothing in the last 2. Getting very very discouraged. Find myself thinking I've failed. I am worried that I am eating too much. I eat 3 times a day, usually a protein bar for breakfast, 1/2 to 3/4 grilled chicken sandwich for lunch, and some type of protein for dinner. I keep thinking something is wrong cuz I should only be able to eat 2 or 3 tablespoons like others say they can. But if I did I would be HUNGRY and feel deprived which for me means disaster and rebound weight gain! This is especially tough since I have at least another 110 to lose to be near my goal weight. So anyhoo, don't feel alone...I have the feeling that there are many of "us" out there and that as long as we keep with the program (protein, water, and exercise) eventually we will HAVE to break the plateau!
