Question:
Anyone have a hard lump under their surgery site?

I ha d my w l s Jan 4th 06. Now I can feel a lump about like a gulf ball right under my scar?? Any one eles? What did you do, if anything?    — sunbrat (posted on January 31, 2006)

I had that too.. It came from strain and went away after a few weeks. The surgeon said that it was fluid under the skin. Teru

I had the same exact thing and was sent home from the doctor only to be admitted 2 days later to the hospital with an infection!! if it is red on the skin or gets bigger, see your doctor IMMEDIATLY!! (my wls was on dec 15th and I still have a bad infection)also make sure you are getting enough protein to help your body heal (approx 80 grams a day) good luck...
