Question:
Does anyone know of a good psycho therapist who specializes in obesity?

I am interested in someone in New York City (Brooklyn or Queens) or Long Island. I think it is important to address the emotional reasons for the obesity as well as the physical.    — browngathers (posted on March 14, 2009)

Ask your Dr. if they know of anyone. My NUT suggested I go to a therapist about a year ago and suggested a few people. It was the best thing I ever did. All though I have addressed my issues I still see my therapist once a month and will continue till after my surgery. Along with my friends and family my therapist is part of my support group through this journey. I wish you good luck. Have a great day.
