NO!!! It is alcohol based and you can't have anything like that for at least the first year. It goes too quickly through your system, and it's a little too harsh for your new tummy. Really all you can take is liquid tylonol at this stage of your journey. I am not talking the meds that you need...like high blood pressure meds.... Ardie

If you feel you need a cough syrup ask your pharmacist for the surgar free/alcohol free over the counter cough syrup- that will not be NYQUIL- another thing you can try for simple sinus congestion is Nasal, Ocean or any other saline nasal spray. The sinus' drains are about the size of a strand of uncooked spaghetti and when you have a lot of mucus they easily become plugged- saline (salt water) is a normal body fluid and where the salt goes water follows- i.e. saline in the nose & water moves from cells lining the passages and helps to wash the mucus out- increase your water to keep the mucus watery. Bad frontal headaches, fever or green or brown mucus - you need to see your docotor for. But do not take alcohol or sugar based syrups.

you know me, and in January I had a really bad cold and didn't even think twice about taking the medicine and it made me DRUNK!!!! I didn't dump, thank god, but it was a crazy crazy feeling, and I was almost 2 yrs out, so I wouldn't test that water LOL Hope you feel better!

Get saline gel at your drugstore. It will clear your nose. you can use the mist, but the gel is the best!

I prefer not to use the liquid, but do take the gels. I only take them at night, and only the first 2 nights usually.

Oean nasel spray (plain Saline) and a good nasel spray decongestant as long as you don't over use would be so much better hon. Believe me Nyquil is not all taht safe for anyone.. hang in there. Laura Johnson
