Question:
Has anyone had experience with Huntington memorial hospital?

My surgery is 3-30-06.It will be in Pasadena California at Huntington Memorial.My surgeon is Dr. Wes Powell. I have never used this hospital.Does anyone have any feedback??? Thanks- MaryAnn    — GIRLYPARTS (posted on March 19, 2006)

Huntington is a Center of Excellence for bariatric surgery. I had my surgery there and had a very good experiance. The units where you recover are very sensitive to our special post-op needs. It's a marvelous hospital, and the staff superb. Look into their pre-op and post-op support meetings, makes life so much easier to understand. This program has a great support system, which has a lot to do with the success of it's bariatric patients. You are in a good place. Good luck to you, and an almost "welcome" to the other side.
