Question:
How long does it take to fully heal?

I'd read somewhere that we aren't yet fully healed at 5 months post-op. At what point, generally, may we pronounce ourselves "fully healed" from the surgery? (I'm 6 months post-op, btw). Thanks.    — Felissa L. (posted on April 4, 2002)

At my 3 month checkup, my surgeon examined me and said my surgery site (both inner and outer) were completely healed.
