Question:
My daughter developed scar tissue across her bowel opening six weeks after surgery an

d had endoscopic balloon opening yesterday. She is still vomiting everything, including water, 24 hours later. Her x-rays showed everything was moving through fine before she left the hospital yesterday evening. What do we do? Barb Trapp    — Barbara T. (posted on March 5, 2003)

My X-rays showed that everything was fine too, that the barium or whatever was moving through. NOT! They finally went in to take a look and I had a herniated intestine. Do not let this go! It's easily fixed, but if it's not detected, can cause major problems.
