Question:
I have a burning left rib pain that is getting worse-anyone else?

It started at 3 wks and now is so bad that I am sitting on a couch again. I can't walk, bend without a tearing sensation on the left rib. The doctor's office says its normal but now it's burning and worse--I see him next Wednesday but can I wait?    — who A. (posted on July 15, 2003)

Jill, this happened to me also. The doctor said it was muscle trauma, and would get WORSE before it got better. About 5 weeks, it stopped all together. Hope this helps.

Well I'm happy to hear that's what the problem is. I visit my doc next week and that was one of the discomforts that I was experiencing. I am learning not to freak out as often these last few days since I got home from the hospital Sunday, 7/13/03
