Question:
Can we digest breath / mint assure

I am so tired of having the metal taste in my mouth, which my dear husband assures me is accompanied by bad breath. Is it possible to digest the little breath assure pills? I thought they were wonderful pre-op and have no idea if I could still benefit from them. I would love to hear from those of you who have been through this. From your postings, I can assume that I will not have this condition forever. In the meantime, I am looking for ANYTHING that can help get rid of this metal mouth. Thanks. <font color="007000" face="tahoma">Rene... I cannot answer your question about the breath assure pills, but I can tell you that I used listerine all the time as a new post op... I also used those little breath strips that desolve very quickly and are VERY intense! Now that I am 4 months out, and a bit more confident, I chew sugar free gum ALL THE TIME! Hi Rene, I don't know anything about those little breath assure pills either but I love the cinnamon altoids. They only have 2 gms of carbs which are sugar and I tolerate them very well. They are very intense and not way out there though. They are very refreshing to my mouth too! Good luck in your quest.~Lise

Im not sure about the product you were asking about or its digestibility...but as an alternative you might want to try a product i've recently found here on Obesityhelp called INNERMINT. It's made a huge difference in the foul gas odor I have experienced and also helped improving my breath. After reading your posting it reminds me that I've had the same issue you are describing and since trying this product INNERMINT's helped with that too.
