Question:
Any Doctors in Sullivan County

I would seriously look into some of the NYC doctors, especially those at Lenox Hill. They are the best in the area. If you are able to do it, it's definitely worth the inconvenience. I don't know much about those outside NYC. Good luck!!!

Hi, Nikki - I am from Sullivan Co. NY also. To my knowledge, there are no doctors in Sullivan or Orange co. who do bariatric surgery. I know that there are md's in Ulster, I went to Westchester for my surgery. As far as finding a md who accepts your insurance, I would check either your provider handbook or the company's web site and then look into the "find a doc" link on this board. Once you find out who accepts your insurance, you can research and contact patients of that surgeon for their feedback. I know that there is a few surgeons who operate out of Westchester Medical Center who may participate. Good luck!
