Question:
I lost 27 lbs the 1st month in the past 6 weeks only 5 lbs.

I feel a bit disapointed I know 35 lbs in 2 1/2 months is great. but I was hoping to be one of the ones that lost 60 lbs in 2 months. I sometimes wonder if Im eating too much. I eat 1/3 - 1/2 cup of food per meal. I watch the fats and excersise 4-5 days a week its just so slow the past 6 weeks will it speed up. and am I eating too much. Joan, congratulations on your 35 lbs lost! Are you watching your carb intake? How much water are you drinking? What has worked for me is to limit my carbs to under 50 a day (I try for 30), drink at least 64 oz of water, drink 1-2 30gm protein shakes per day and exercise vigorously for 45 min to 1 hr 5 times per week. I haven't had any plateaus so far (knock on wood) although I only lose 1-2 lbs per week (one every few days). Good luck!!!
