Question:
Which baby foods can you eat?

I bought some baby food that says it contains 23g of sugar it's in a 6oz jar do you think that this is too much sugar to have.    — Samitra D J. (posted on January 26, 2002)

I never ate any baby food, reportedly its tasteless, and besides I wanted regular food. Cut into pencil eraser sized bits I chewed it to death, and NEVER pureed anything. 23 G of sugar sounds high, warning dump hazard.

I bought some baby food, yet never ate any either. Pureed food and protein supplements for me initially. Good Luck!

My surgeon told me not to eat any type of baby food. The sugar and carb counts on most of it is way higher than what most new post ops should be eating.

I have a hard time feedng my BABY baby food, much less eating it myself. There are somany alternatives with real food. Mashed potatoes with melted cheese, refried beans with melted cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, canned fruit in it's own juice, oatmeal.... Toss the baby food and enjoy your meals!

I ate Gerber's 3rd stage Banana baby food the other day and it was 8oz. I called their hotline number first and they said single fruit jars are all natural and contain natuarl sugars but foods with dessert like types do have added sugars. I had no problem with it but everyone is different.
