Question:
Iam 12 weeks post op,down 66#, haven't lost in 3 weeks! Help

I eat mostly proteins,some veggies and some fruit..always drink 60-70 oz.water daily(half crysal lite and water)NO soda or breads, pastas or sugars...Iam really frustrated..I do drink one cup of coffee in the morning with non fat milk..any suggestions??    — Dolly J. (posted on May 21, 2002)

Holy Smokes Girl 66 pounds in 3 months that is awesome weight lost. your body is just catching up with itself right now, and the weight lose will start again. I looked at your profile and did not see your starting weight, but noticed your BMI is on the low end, Just keep up the good work and congrats on the great weight lose Have you measured? I bet you have lost inches in these last 3 weeks God Bless

I am 5 months post-op and I have lost 67lbs and this week I GAINED 1/2 lb I was crushed and what is so bad I walked all weekend and half was UPHILL!! I expected to loose 4 lbs.And I haven't eaten more than I usually do.(but I did not drink alot so I'm hoping it was water and will go away) But we have to believe we are ok but it's scary!!!

Wow-66 in 3 months is great. We all hit plateaus at different times and they last for varying lengths of time. Just don't get discouraged. Weigh yourself just once a week or once every 2 weeks-I know some who only weigh once a month! Are you exercising too? Believe it or not, when I have been on a plateau, I eat one extra small meal a day, increase water and exercise, and it seems to work...hang in there, 66 is wonderful!!
