Karen, first of all, I hope they are able to help your sister, and that she
makes a full recovery. Also, I have heard of several cases of dehydration,
hence the need for everyone to drink enough fluids, but I'm curious as to
what type of WLS she had, and was she instructed to take vitamins and
protein by her surgeon?

Karen,
I don't have an answer to your heartbreaking question.I wanted
you to know that I will be thinking of you and praying for
you and your sister. I am sorry this happened.
Someone else passed this verse on to me today, "I have
heard your prayer, I have seen your tears. Surely,...
I will heal you." 2 Kings 20:5. May you & your family
find some rest in Him during this awful process. Please
keep us up dated! Heather
