Have you discussed this with your surgeon? Some of the main reasons/causes
of nausea are eating too fast, eating too much, and not chewing thoroughly.
Do you do any of those? Also are you taking any meds that may cause
nausea? Are you lactose intolerant --- that can cause nausea? Hope you
find the reason and a solution soon. Definitely talk to your doctor.

I still find that during those times when my body goes back into ketosis, I
tend to get a little nauseaous from the ketones. Also, even at 14 months
out, some medications (particularly antibiotics) severely aggitate my
stomach. Lastly, I'm gradually realizing that my stomach just isn't as
resilient as the old one was and that small stomach upsets tend to last for
several hours. Fortunately, I've found that using a little Pepto Bismol (I
actually use the generic version from Costco) works wonders (and it is
sugar-free unlike many anti-nausea medications). Good luck.

Do you still have your gallbladder? A bad GB will cause nausea. I was
almost a year out when mine went south. Check with your doctor and get to
the bottom of it. Hope you feel better soon. ~Sidney~ Open RNY 10-23-02
