Question:
Has anyone ever used Aloe Vera gel on their scar?

My Dr. told me my scar would go past my navel because of 3 previous "bikini cut" surgeries. Has anyone ever used Aloe Vera Gel to help heal their scar?    — Lisa P. (posted on July 3, 1999)

I used Vit E oil and aloe (alternating) on my bypass scar. Then when I replaced it with the tummy tuck scar, I used "Scargo" and I was much happier with the results of that. I used it on some old scars on my leg & lost one completely. The other faded back til it was barely noticeable. That'd would be my first choice.

I don't know about surgery scars, but out daughter was in a motor cycle accident and ripped up the side of her face real bad. We put aloe (the actual leaves) and pure vergin olive oil on it and there is no scar.
