Question:
To the post ops that did not have to get tummy tucks,

I have lost 97.5 pounds and am 10 pounds from goal. I do not need a TT and have no hanging skin anywhere. I would like to have a TT someday not for hanging skin just because I have a lot of stretch marks and my tummy is just a litlle squishy. (I also have had four kids) I would love to say it is because I have been so good at working out but I haven't. I make it to the gym every once in a while but not on a regular basis. I have not done one sit up or crunch. I do take a special protein drink that has lean muscle stimulators in it that is supposed to prevent sagging skin.

I believe it depends on alot of things.... 1. Your age plays a big part in your skin because usually when you are younger your skin naturally has more elasticity thena older persons, so it bounces back in to place better and more paportioned. 2. It depends on the amount of weight you loose/ have to loose. The more weight you loose the more you usually need to have a tt. 3. Majority of the time no exercise can get rid of the excess skin just the fat. No matter how many crunchs/ sit ups that you do. 4. Stretchmarks play a part in your elasticity also the more stretch marks you have it usually tells you that your skin has already lost alot of elasticity and usually it will not bounce back in to place.
