Question:
I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM PRE-OPS'S WHO HAD LOW IRON LEVELS POST-OP PLEASE

I AM ABOUT TO HAVE SURGERY AND AM SLIGHTLY ANEMIC. I AM CONCERNED THAT THE SURGERY WILL REALLY MAKE ME ANEMIC. ANY ADVICE? THANKS.    — Marybeth O. (posted on October 10, 2001)

My iron levels were very low but my surgeon did the surgery anyway. I didn't notice any difference after surgury what I mean is I didn't feel more run down. I've been taking my supplements daily and still don't notice a difference for the better or worse. I have lived with anemia for so long I guess I'm just used to it!
