Question:
Anyone ever feel a thump when you turn over?
I am 10 months post op from lap RNY. I have noticed that when I lie in bed and turn over from my left side to my right it feels like something "settles," kind of a mild thump somewhere between my heart and my abdomen (I am short-waisted so there's not much ground to cover there). I don't know if I am transected or not but it kinda gives me the willies to think that things aren't tied down in there somehow. =) Does this happen to anybody else or is it just me? — ctyst (posted on April 10, 2002)

I felt the same thing right after surgery probably into the 2nd month. I
could hardly stand to turnover because it felt like something was dangling
there...and it did give me the willies too. I haven't felt it sense(perhaps
I am used to it now?)13 months p/o from open RNY
