Question:
I am 5 weeks post op. Have lost 40 lbs, but the scale has not moved for 1 1/2 weeks.

I have increased my water. I am exercising 5 days weekly. But protein supplements make me vomit. All i have to do is think about them and i get nauseous. Any suggestions? I am very discouraged.    — Kathryn L. (posted on April 17, 2002)

Have you kept track of your measurements? Alot of times you will lose inches and not pounds. I do not know what type of surgery you had but you probably really need the extra protein from supplements. If you are using the powder and adding water, juice or milk and still cannot stand it, try GNC's Challenge liquid protein. 3 tablespoons is 18 grams of protein. I water it down with water and add splenda/tastes like watered down koolaid. If you don't like it either,as long as you keep your receipt, you can get a refund from GNC.
