Question:
Do you get the NG tube after you're put to sleep or before?

I was so worried about this! I don't even remember seening that tube! They put it in and took it out while I was a sleep. Dont worry

They put it in after I was "out" and took it out the next day after the leak test. I found it uncomfortable both on my nose and in my throat, but not drastic.

they put mine in after i was 'out', but they didn't take it out until later that afternoon. i never felt it in, but i could see it. when they pull it out it didn't hurt or anything, it was just a very 'weird' sensation. the tube is small, it doesn't take up your whole notril or anything. you may not even know it is there! don't worry.
