Question:
When do you begin to see you?

Nancy, I hope they do, I'm going threw the same thing I'm 10 months post op and down about 127 pounds, Every now and then I'll look in the mirror and to be honest hardly reconize the person staring back at me sometimes, or I'll go window shopping and see my reflection. It's so weird. When I'm alone I'll look at my body in the mirror and feel disgusted with it, (Loose fat around the tummy section) allong with excess skin..... Ok and I no buns !, I just see so much more that I must work on... It makes me want to cry. I know I'm much healthier then I've ever been and that is a blessing but our minds are our own worst enemy. Rather then complenting ourselves I'm rather harsh on myself.. Making myself push harder, then ever before. Avoiding any temptation. (I'm hoping one day our minds catch up with our bodies, or meet somewhere in between, Hope it does best of luck, I'm right there with you. Hugs ! Post op 10 months down 127 pounds (A another plateau from hell)

This is a common thing among wls patients. Yesterday my surgeon told me that it take about two years for your brain to catch up with your body.

I feel the same way. I don't see it in the mirror and when I look at pictures it looks like a stranger. My boobs were the last to go. Then I went from a DD to a B or C. Luckily they are still where they are supposed to be. :)

Wow! Not sure what your question is, but all I can say is you look fabulous - like a true bombshell! (Like Anna Nicole Smith would look if she could get a grip on her weight - and that's not a bad thing.) Good luck : )

Nancy, all I can say is WOW!! You look incredible!! I do know what you mean about not seeing what other people see. I go for my plastic surgery in 13 days. I'm hoping I will finally think I'm thin after that. I can wear and 8-10 now and I still think I look fat. Its the extra skin and I know this. Just keep looking at your pictures. Youll see it eventually. Congrats on your success!!

I don't have an answer to you questions, but you look absolutely wonderful!
