Question:
How do I go about forming a support group.

I had surgery in Columbus OH, which is over 3 hours from my house. I would love to attend support group meeting, but the closest one is about an hour from my house. I know there are several people in my town that are in the same situation that I am. Any advice about forming a new group?    — Lynda D. (posted on June 21, 2003)

We are starting a support group too. We are having our first meeting next week. We invited some people from our area by posting the meeting on the local mesg board on this site.

email me and i will be happy to give you some tips i along with 3 other women formed a group about over a year ago and happy to say its going well, had some bumps in the road but it has smoothed out alot...
