Question:
What am I doing wrong ?

The first month post-op I lost 25 lbs. ( But my docs said 13, everyone elses said 25) The second month NO lbs. The third 6 lbs. I'm very active now , drink all 64 oz of water a day and eat protien 3 times a day. What is wrong with me. Can I reach a platueu already ? I feel its my fault but can't give a reason.    — [Anonymous] (posted on March 13, 2000)

I would love to help you, however, I need more info..Like type of surgery.. i.e. pouch size. What you're eating? Give me a typical weeks menu or even two days would help. What type of dietary requirements your surgeon set for you.. (all are different)... How may calories are you consuming a day? Do you drink alcohol? Are you exercising? How often and for how long. Are you drinking 64 oz of water (liquid a day) maybe if your relying on juices they are high in calories.. Feel free to write me and lets talk.. Here is a handy tool to calculate your daily calorie intake.. (http://www.caloriescount.com/cgi-bin/Enhanced_calcalc/enhanced_calcalc.cgi) This might surprise you when you key in everything you're eating in a day.. I'm staying 600-700 calories a day and getting in my required protein. Again this depends on surgery type..
