Are there any things you want to know about this site?
Hi, this is Eric Klein, founder of this web site. People have been bugging me for a long time to update my profile to explain more about my past and about the history and motivation behind this web site. Well, I finally got around to it. Dear Eric,
Bravo...Bravo
I have been coming to this web site for 5 months now and I cannot begin to
thank you for this gift you have given. I have found out so much
information here and through some people who had found this site. I have
passed on the site address to approximently 6 or 7 people and will continue
to do so to others as needed.
I say THANK YOU, but to me that does not seem to express jush how much I
appreciate what you have done. You are truly an Angel sent from Heaven to
help so many people. God Bless You...

Hi Eric I think you have done a great job on your site.
What I have not seen ( but maybe you have) Is a "memorial page"/
In memeory of " This is pretty much an upbeat website
w/ much encouragement, However, there are some of us that don't make it,
and maybe we could reach out to their loved
ones w/ condolences etc. for those who have passed on.
PS I am a teacher, and you are what we call GT gifted/talented. Spanish,
Music, Medicine, self-taught, and
Jutice- seeker. Thanks for being here for us and providing us w/ a place to
go to and feel safe. " que Bueno!!"

Hi Eric, this site has changed my life!! If it were not for this site, I
may have not a lot of great people, and had my surgery done quickly, due to
the info they gave me. This site has given me inspiration, information,
and a reason to keep going. You have done a great thing here!

I can't think of anything to improve this site. You have done a great job
and helped lots of people reach a more joyous and meaningful life

I've gained so much information from this site. After trying to research
by buying books - and coming to a dead end (there are only THREE - THREE
books out there!) - this site has been wonderful. What I would like to see
more of, and I am not sure you can help, is more before and after photos.
I think it's important not only to read stories but to see photos and
realize this can be a drastic change to your appearance as well as your
health. I am a very visual person and next to reading people's stories, I
appreciate this the most! I also am grateful to the fact that you don't
censor people's views on their posts. Granted, there are a few *&!@#*
marks here and there, but you let the general tones of posts come through.
Thanks for putting all this information together. It really can be a life
saving tool.

I love this site and it's been priceless to have had it while going through
this. The only suggestion is that there be some way to search out patients
who have had each type of procedure. I'm having the Lap VBG and it's hard
to find those who have also had it done here. Other than that, everything
is great. Thanks so much!

I look at this site every time I turn on my computer, which is just about
every day. THANK YOU ERIC -- through your effort alone, you have enhanced
many many lives. I made my decision by coming to this website AND chose my
doctor by coming to this website.
Gosh, you have lots of energy with all you do and have done. You are

Eric, thank you so much for this truly wonderful site! I'm wondering if
there is a way to add events? I see events listed (as in Support Group
Meetings) but I haven't been able to find a place to enter this information
in. I'm probably just overlooking it somewhere. Also...have you ever
considered organizing a cruise or something like that?

Eric, thank you so much for creating such a educational and interactive
site. At first I was a little itimidated and not sure how to navigate but
it didn't take me long. I was wondering if under the "find a
peer" section it could be divided by surgeon? I think it would be nice
to be able to talk to others with the same surgeon. Thanks again, Marylou

Eric, this site is the best! I have no recommendations at this time, but
just want to say thanks! This site is helping soooo many people have
longer,
happier and healthier lives. My husband and I both have had Open RNY and
my
sister-in-law is having it next week. Too bad there aren't more people
like
you who are motivated to help people like you have.

eric god bless u for this site. it has helped me tremendously in making my
decision about wls & has also introduced me to many new friends. i have
one major complaint tho. on the FIND PEERS page, couldnt u make room to
list the persons surgeon with their basic info on the first page? if u r
researching a particular dr its sooooooooo time consuming to go thru all
the names & opening their profile to see who their surgeon is &
what their opinion is. i would love to be able to scroll down the dr's
names & read the persons profile.

Hi Eric ~ ~ I first found this site in Nov. of 2000. This site has helped
me to learn everything about wls. If it wasn't for this site I don't know
what I would have done.I also have met a bunch of caring & inspiring
people here. My day is not complete without visiting AMOS. Keep up the good

Eric, one thing I meant to ask, and I'm embarrassed to ask it because my
last job was as a webmaster, but here goes...
Why is it that when I try to put a table onto my profile page I get a huge
header space? I've seen this on other peoples profile pages too. I've
seen some people successfully put table in but on reviewing their pages I
can't see anything that they've done differently. What the heck and I
doing (or not doing for that matter)?

Hi Eric, I just want to include my thanks for this site. I have been
visiting since Jan 2001, and it was my surgeon's office that suggested it.
WOW!! It's fantastic, all that I've learned and the great people I've met.
And it's user friendly. I'm not the most advanced computer pounder out
there, so ease of use is very important to me. Thankyou for making me feel
comfortable. I also enjoyed your update. What an interesting and varied
life you have had. What fun, Huh??? Anyway, Thanks Again, Lots 'O Love, and

I AM AN ADDICT AND PROUD OF IT =O) Addicted to this superb site. Eric you
are a genius plain and simple. This site has helped me tremendoulsy in my
research and I truly feel that with all the trials I've gone through trying
to have WLS, I would've given up were it not for the support here. Thank
you for your dedication as you strive to make this site better, although
it's already the best in my opinion. I've been to many WLS sites in my
pursuit of a healthier life and none, abosultely none compare. However
you've asked for feedback on improving the site, so here it is. I think
that if the "new date page" had a column showing the names of the
doctors beside each member's name, it may be helpful to those who might
want to identify others having surgery around the same time with the same
doctor.
I did read your very interesting profile. Sometimes our lives take detours
from the paths we want to take, and as humans we sometimes become sad. But
it's all for a reason. You didn't imagine the kind of success you're
experiencing today with this site, it just exploded. This was a detour for
you and what a detour. You thank us, but I say no, THANK YOU.

Eric, I think it's been said, this site is a God send to all of us. I visit
here everyday and love evey minute of it.
The thing I would like is that when we ask a question that it be stored on
our profile page or somewhere where it is easy to relocate. Sometimes our
questions just seem so hard to find...it's scrolling, scrolling,
scrolling.
