Question:
Will immune surpressant drugs hurt the pouch ?

I have recently been told by Kidney doctor I need to be on Mycophenalate (Cell Cept) this is an immune surpressant drug. Will there be a problem with taking this ?    — kyad7 (posted on September 26, 2005)

If you mean drugs for things such as lupus or fibromyalgia, no. I take Plaquenil for my lupus and my doctor assured me that was ok. Drugs like, Celebrex, however I would ask your doctor....I believe these are harsh on the stomach. Hope this helps.
