where are there good diet programs to get prior to getting the surgery done?

Are there any good weight loss programs in the Sunnyvale or Santa Clara area to get in to start the weight loss program prior to the surgery? So it will be a much easier transition    — Cindy B. (posted on September 22, 2002)

I found the nutritionist that works for standford medical center has a good pre-op diet. In fact she has a whole program on post-op diets also.

There is a lady in Sacto who lost 65# pre-op, just by using protein shakes & skipping milk & sugar. I'm a fan of that, but she even amazed me. If you email me pvtly, I'll send you her addy.
