Hi guys, here's my question, i'm about 16 mos post op and the past

week or so i've been throwing up ALOT more lately. seems like not much stays down anymore. which is weird becuase up til now i've been eating pretty normally. this morning i threw up breakfast almost two hours after i ate it..which shocked me since i thought it woudl be long gone by then. think somethign might be stuck? its too far out toe have something like a stricture right? thanks!    — hdziema (posted on February 25, 2004)

Could it be...stomach flu? A virus? I've never heard of someone getting a stricture this far out, but, you never know! Prhaps you don't have a full stricture, but a narrowing of the stoma. You really should call your surgeon and ask them to see you. Vomiting regularly is not right, no matter what it is from, so it would be best to find the cause right away. Good luck to you.

It could be a few different things from eating too fast/flu or more serious condition ie stricture or obstruction from adhesions. Do you by any chance have a hernia? as this could be from a strangulation (I am going through this phase right now) Always best to check with your MD! By the way you look great!
