Question:
BCBS POS - Any luck with BCBS POS paying for panni surgery?

If anyone has gone through them for the panni surgery,please let me know how things went. I am trying to decide if my insurance will cover this or if I will have to be self pay. Thank you!    — [Anonymous] (posted on May 22, 2001)

I have checked with many surgeons and my insurance --BB Prudent Buyer and they may cover 40% of panniculectomy ONLY, removal of skin no muscle tightening, if doctor is preferred provider only. This can cost anywhere from $2000 and up, your portion of payment. Good Luck!
