Question:
Any Antelope Valley Groups?

I live in Los Angeles County in the Antelope Valley. I am having my surgery in San Diego and cannot drive there as often as I'd like to for support - anyone know of a local group?    — Michele W. (posted on August 4, 2001)

Hi! I'm glad to see you looking for a support group. The support is really important. I know that there is a group in Hawaiian Gardens that is Dr. Fobi's group...that is closer than San Diego...I belong to a support group in Riverside that is run by Dr. Terry Sanderfer's office. We meet the last Tuesday of each month at 7pm. If you are interested in attending that one, Dr. Sanderfer's office number is (909)371-1721 they can give you information. Hope this helps...

There are 2 groups that meet in the Antelope Valley. One will start meeting in April 2004 at Antelope Valley Hospital and the other meets at Chapman University. Email me and I will get the information for you.
