Question:
was anyone unhappy with thier tummy tuck? i still have an apron after 2 mos

the surgeon had told me he might not be able to fix the upper part of my abdomon, but 3 months after the tummy tuck, i still have an apron! i wore a really tight girdle and corset like i was supposed to(i still wear one), i am really disapointed. i waited till i was a year and a month post op, so i had lost all the weight i wanted to. i am so depressed with the results of the surgery. did anyone else have this problem?    — marsmaiden74 (posted on August 6, 2002)

Liza, I'd be back at your surgeons office for a follow up to find out what he's going to do about it. At over 300 lbs (out of necessity) I had my tummy tuck. Although they did have to leave some fat tissue that will be removed in my "touch up" at 6 months post op, they made it very clear what I was supposed to expect before the surgery ever happened. My lower tummy is perfectly flat, no apron at all. It doesn't seem right at all.
