Bob's right. We need more information in order to answer you. I personally have heard that anywhere from 50% loss of the excess weight and higher is considered successful. You' reonly about a year out, right? So, it is possible there's more you can do for yourself. But, has it been determined that you have a mechanical malfunction? Most surguries can be revised in some way. But, the question is does it need to be revised? Please provide more info and we can help.

Your parents illness must of been tough. Stress eating at such time might hurt your weight loss. How many calories a day are you eating now? Have you tried eating say 800 calories a day for a week with no sugar low carb? That with lots of exercise will likely get you loosing again.<P> My wife although she lost over 100 pounds didnt get near goal. Still she is much healthier. Has the current loas helped yopur health? Franly that loosing window? If you ask me its far easier to loose right after surgery but with care you can still loose at over 2 years out.

Rebecca, have you been checked for mechanical failure? Are you transected, possible stretched stoma, fistula? If your surgeon refuses to acknowledge these possibilities first, find another surgeon.

If you're only eating half a lean cuisine it sounds like your stomach pouch is still small. Check the calories in the cappuchinos; depending on how they're made they could be contributing more than you realize. But lots of people are just cursed with metabolisms such that they're *not* going to get down to an ideal weight. If you've lost a significant amount, are healthier, and don't have a regain then you're still a success.
