My PCP is Dr. Mickey V. Bush, M.D. in Missouri City, TX. I didn't need a "referral" but she was all for my surgery. I don't know if she is in your insurance plan or not.

The best thing you can do is to call the surgeon and find out which PCP's regularly refer patients to him (or her). Then see who is on the list that is also on your insurances list. GOOD Luck
