TEXAS MEDICAID

TEXAS MEDICAID cover this type of surgery I am having the hardest time trying to find a doctor that will take texas medicaid. If anyone one knows of a doctor that might please help. - Karen Daly    — docqueenie (posted on January 5, 2003)

Go to the insurers tab at the top of the home page and click on your state you should see people who used medicaid and the docs who take it in your state. Thats how i found out Ga. medicaid would pay for it and what doctors took it.

I checked in the "Insurers" tab at the top and looked for Medicaid under Texas on this site and haven't found any evidence that Texas Medicaid pays for wls. One entry even specifically said "Texas Medicaid will not cover this surgery now or ever."... sorry, keep checking though :(
