Question:
I'm 7 weeks post-op and have white wavy lines on my tongue.

I'm seeing the development of white wavy lines on the sides of my tongue. Has anyone else experienced this? What does it mean? I have a dental appointment on Wednesday.    — Cathy S. (posted on March 17, 2003)

Thursh is pretty common in the first few months post-op. Mine looked like little white circles. It was dx quickly & fixed.

Nystatin swish and swallow will fix that right up

hi there :) im thinking that you may have either thrush or you are dehydrated. a wrinkly tongue is a pretty good indication of needing more h2o, i had the wrinkles and lines on the sides as you described, it got better as soon as i was able to get more and more water in :)
