Well, what a coinscidence!!! We have same doctor, and I'll be 2 years out in Aug. I had a TT in Jan. I've been on the plateau from hell for the last 8 months also. I did lose 10 lbs from the TT. But I must admit, I have not been exercising and gettting all my protein in. I have a sit down job, and this size 9 feels so comfortable. I'd love to lose another 30 lbs though! [email protected]

Same with me. 25 months out and no loss since around 18 months. And I still have 30 lbs to lose. :(

Hi...same for me...I'm 22 months out and haven't lost a pound since Nov. 02...I'm at 153lbs, and completely happy with where I am, wearing 8/10 pants, and medium shirts...I do wear a Medical ID bracelet, but I bought a regular curb link bracelet and bought a Medic Alert charm, so it looks more like a bracelet than a medic alert. Mine simply states "Gastric Bypass - NO N.G." meaning no blind NG tube in the E.R. if I ever end up there unconscious. I also carry a medic alert card in my wallet that goes into more detail, "Gastric Bypass - No blind N.G. - Endoscopy only", so that they know to use an endoscopy to place the NG if necessary. I just answered something similar in a previous post. No matter how far out we are, if we want to get the loss going again, its a matter of lowering the calories going in and/or working harder to expend the calories going out (heart pumping, regular sweating types of exercise). I'm in the same boat at 16 months post, haven't lost anything since 13 months post op. Kinda happy where I'm at but stopped 7 pounds shy of goal and if I want to get there, all I have to do is follow the formula above. As for the medical bracelet, I asked my surgeon and he said that the NG tubes used to intubate (spelling?) don't go in far enough to hurt the pouch so a bracelet was not necessary.
