Question:
Wonderful easy three ingredient recipe for cheesecake-like mixture

A friend of mine passed this on to me yesterday, and I made it last night. I thought I would pass it on to you all. Mix 8 oz. softened cream cheese with 1 .3 oz package of Jello (I chose lemon - it was delicious) and one small carton of whipping cream. Mix and refrigerate. The carb count is miniscule! It's also sweet enough as is, and you don't have to add any additional sweetener. (Unless you personally need more.)    — raye (posted on August 10, 2003)

Are you using the low fat or fat free cream cheese and cool whip?

I used the 1/3 less fat cream cheese, and don't use the cool whip - use the liquid whipping cream. It comes in a little carton back by the milk in the refrigerated section.

ORIGINAL POSTER HERE: I did not leave very good instructions with this, so let me try it again for a 3rd time! I used 1/3 less fat store brand cream cheese, and .3 ounce SUGAR FREE Jello. I also used the liquid whipping cream (small carton) that is located back in the store by the milk to make this, not the cool whip that comes frozen in a container. Hope this helps! It is really good served with graham crackers if you're taking it somewhere for people who are not carb conscious. But for those of us who are, just the mixture is fine!

This sounds delicious. But, how many grams of fat does it have? I have to watch my fat intake. But, I would love to try this recipe!!
