Question:
Why do I have to enter name & password EVERY time?

Why do I have to enter my name and password EVERY time I want to post a message? Why won't this thing remember it? It's really annoying?    — Marrilee M. (posted on October 14, 2003)

To discourage vandals from posting garbage. Imagine if anyone could post and how much trash would be sent. I personally like having to sign in each time. Yes it is a hassle and takes extra time but it is worth it to me.

AMOSA MOD HERE<P> In the early days of the internet thats how all message boards were. Now the state boards here have been upgraded so you dont have to endlessely re enter the same info. I hate doing it too. How about everyone who wants this upgrade posts here asking please make it happen and I will forward along to management. I was told its planned but have no idea of when it will occur. It would make participating much easier and get us more activity!

I'd be one to vote for an upgrade, but considering the whole kit and kaboodle is free here, I am certainly not going to complain if I have to keep entering the info lol.

Why can't the q&a board and the profile secton of this site know what we are thinking so we don't have to type it in every time. JUST KIDDING HA! hA!! I am very appreciative of this site and don't mind typing it in every time either. I am just very thankful this site is available for our use 24/7.

I agree with Laura B., so people won't put garbage onto the site. I am afraid people who have not had the surgery or who are not considering it can harm this site in any form. So that, I am guessing, is why we have to put our name and password in everytime we want to post a message.

I would like to vote for a one-time log in, then we wouldn't have to put our name and password each time we go to post a message. This would give us more time to post messages to other peoples' surgery pages...That would be nice, I think.

Maybe I should clarify; I meant we could log in with our name and password each time we come here to OH, and then we wouldn't have to enter it for each individual message. I wasn't sure if my last post was clear or not. Sorry if there was confusion!
