Looking for Support groups in Charlotte and Gastonia area

Hi, I had RNY on 10/16/03 and so far im doing very well, but I know that I am gonna need support, i know that i have support here on the board and from my family, but i would like to find a support group that is not to far away.. thank you    — amberb (posted on October 22, 2003)

I go to one at Northeast Medical Center in Concord. I don't know how close that is for you. We meet the first Thursday in November. I had surgery 1-3-03. Dr. Bauman did my surgery. Contact me if you need the time, exact location and what is about this month. My email is [email protected]

Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill has a support group which meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:00 at the women's center. Don't know if that's too far away for you though.
