Does anyone know if the Adjustable bypass band will be offerend in the US?

My surgeon, Dr. Martin, in New Orleans, Louisiana Phone # (504)899-5511 does the adjustable banding. They have a support group also. Good Luck on your quest. I had open RNY on 4-17, -54#!!

It is alrady in FDA trials around the country. It IS available in the US, and some people even get insurance coverage. Barb is right -- there is no bypassing, or even cutting of the stomach!
