Question:
I wanted to hear from anyone who has had the RNY surgery done at U of Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania hospital. I wanted to know how they were with accomodating you as far as the nursing staff and pain control and overall attitude toward obese people. I am scheduled for surgery on July 20th and am a bit worried about this. Thanks for any input.    — Dawn H. (posted on July 2, 2001)

I had my surgery with Dr Kirkland @ Pennsy in Feb. 01 in my exp. With some of the staff was not that great some of the RN's were rude but when I called them they came that's what's important. Dr K was wonderful, I was I the hospital 5 days with no complications I had a morphine pump for pain so I really had did no have a lot of pain. Don't worry you will be fine.
