Question:
What material is used for the internal staple line?

A friend is considering the RNY procedure but is highly allergic to the external incisional staples. We're wondering what the staple line staples are made of. Any ideas?    — Lacy G. (posted on July 18, 2001)

Titanium, these are really inert and dont react to people and dont interfere in a MRI
