Question:
Anyone have plastic surgery approved with UHC Select POS of Pa.?

I'm still pre-op but thinking ahead. How hard is it to get plastic surgery (not just TT) approved by UHC. I work for AT and T Western Pa. if anyone else has ATandT UHC Select POS I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks    — Elva C. (posted on March 13, 2002)

I also work for a communications Co and have UHC POS but a different plan. Mine was originally denied but I sent lots of ugly rash pics and letters from my primary and obgyn and so far they are approving Panniculectomy (sp), bilateral arm skin reduction and bi-lateral thigh reduction. I get the panni in a couple of weeks and will work on the others from there. They denied the breast part but I have sent in additional rash pictures to try to appeal.
