Since no one responded to my question a few days ago, I'm asking again!

Do any of you know if Lifewise in Oregon pays for reconstructive surgery? My insurance kicks in with them in January and I want to get the ball rolling if it looks like I will have a lengthly appeal process. Any input would be appreciated.    — jenn2002 (posted on October 5, 2002)

You need to check with your Employee Benefits person. Only they can tell you what benefits/exclusions your policy has. Once you actually have the insurance you can call the insurance company and find out from them too. Someone else can appear to have the same insurance but their benefits can be very different. It all depends on what your employer purchases. Good Luck.

Just make sure you talk to the insurance company that you don't call it a tummy tuck because it will then be in the "cosmetic" area and will not be paid for.
